Kb Port welcomes two new employees:
Kaylyn Spolar and David Kiefer

August 17, 2010

Kaylyn Spolar, a graduate from West Virginia University, brings her 7 years of experience in bank branch management, sales, service and teamwork to Kb Port. Working together with David Park, her effective leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills will help to develop and grow our tech support and training department.

Recently, on a Kb Port business trip to Miami, Kaylyn found an abandoned cat at the hotel. It was undernourished and frightened. Since it was late and nobody was around to help, Kaylyn took the cat into her room to care for it. She named her Miaya, booked her a ticket and brought her to Pittsburgh. After a trip to the vet, loving care and good food, Miaya is on her way back to health. Kaylyn’s dog Nash, a pit bull, has joined in to help. The two animals sleep cuddled together. Kaylyn said, “One is never without the other.”

We believe Kb Port and it’s customers can expect a lot in the future from Kaylyn.

David Kiefer, a graduate from ITT Technical Institute, brings his years of experience as a technician to Kb Port’s Installation Department. He’ll be working for Ed Nycz, Manager, and with team members Ben Davis, and Jordan English. His responsibilities include installation, soldering intricate circuits, cable assemblies, and troubleshooting. Ed said, “I believe David is going to be a great addition to our department.”

David and his wife are proud of their twin boys. This year the boys start kindergarten.
