Kb Port LLC, an innovative multimedia solutions provider, has been recognized by the Pittsburgh Business Times as one of the Top 100 fastest growing, privately held companies in the region. The honor—a first for the thriving company—is an impressive accomplishment both within the audiovisual systems industry and amid challenging economic times. Kb Port ranked 15th out of 100 companies also honored.

In nearly two decades of service, Kb Port has forged relationships with top equipment manufacturers across myriad industries. The company has also introduced a variety of innovative products and offers design and consulting services for new and existing laboratory, medical training and industrial facilities. On being recognized among the Top 100, Partner, Chuck Miller remarked, “At Kb Port, we pride ourselves on our ability to adapt to our clients’ ever-evolving needs. A portion of Kb Port’s growth and success can be attributed to the pursuit of new and experimental uses for the company’s many products. Traditionally, Kb Port’s ETC digital recording system is used for medical simulations. Recently, however, the company partnered with The Atlantic Paranormal Society (T.A.P.S.) to begin testing the ETC system for use in the study and discovery of paranormal activities. Kb Port and T.A.P.S. will be working together to further develop the ETC’s technology to aid in future investigations.
