Ghost Hunting at Fort Mifflin

August 12, 2009

Kb Port’s Susan Redmond and David Park joined The Atlantic Paranormal Society (T.A.P.S.) at an event organized by Ideal Event Management. Heading up the TAPS team were Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson from the Syfy Channel’s show Ghost Hunters. (Ghost Hunters next season premiers Wednesday, August 19 at 9/8c.) Also in attendance were regular TAPS team members Steve Gonsalves, Dave Tango, and Kris Williams. The location was Fort Mifflin, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Originally commissioned in 1771 Governor John Penn, Fort Mifflin has seen action during both the Revolutionary War and the Civil War.

The TAPS members are currently testing Kb Port’s ETC system for use in the study and discovery of paranormal activities. Kb Port LLC and T.A.P.S. will be working together to further develop the ETC’s technology to aid in their investigations.

Kb Port developed a wireless sensor for tracking environmental conditions such as temperature, barometric pressure, and humidity. Readings from the environmental sensor package (ESP for short) are automatically synced with the video and audio channels. This allows one to see readings from all inputs, whether video, audio, environmental, or otherwise, from any point during the recording.
