The 8th International Meeting on Simulation in Healthcare provides an exciting and unique experience for a diverse population of stakeholders who share a common mission to promote excellence in patient safety and care through innovation and collaboration. These include: physicians, nurses, prehospital providers, educators, engineers, technology specialists, administrators, center operators, other clinical providers and non-healthcare simulation enthusiasts.

The program addresses the spectrum of introductory to advanced topics through a variety of engaging sessions that include keynote and large group presentations, interactive workshops, expert panel and roundtable discussions, affinity group meetings and research abstract presentations. Interdisciplinary themes covering broad areas of research, education, team training and assessment are embedded throughout the conference. All simulation methods will be represented including mannequin and computer-based simulators, virtual reality systems, standardized patients and task trainers.
