Kb Port introduced its L-Scope, a training video laryngoscope with built-in ETC recording technology at the IMSH conference in San Diego, January 2012.

The L-Scope can record to it's internal memory and can also stream directly to an ETC as an additional satellite image. Students and instructors can watch live via a large screen display with the ability to interact: add flags or comments directly to the log file for debriefing purposes.

“The L-Scope proto-type was received favorably by conference attendees,” Chuck Miller said after the conference. “They liked the recording and tagging features and the use of a MAC3 blade. We’re excited for the L-Scope’s release into the market. We’re projecting it will be ready for sale by June 1st, 2012.”
